​Traffic for six miles on M25 anticlockwise between junctions 27 and 26 after trailer breaks down

Traffic is queuing for six miles on the M25 in Essex this morning (February 16) after a vehicle broke down.

The anticlockwise carriageway of the motorway between junction 27 M11 and junction 26 A121 Waltham Abbey has been impacted as a result.

Earlier, a vehicle believed to be a small trailer or possibly a horse box, broke down in one of the four lanes, leading to its closure.

Congestion on the M25 Halfway to junction 28 A12 Brook Street Roundabout has been reported.

All four lanes have now been re-opened and the trailer has been moved.
