Chance of a role in the running of am-dram group

HARLOW Theatre Company is searching for theatre-lovers keen to get involved with the day-to-day running of one of the town’s most successful am-dram groups.

The group is hoping to expand this year and need new committee members to help it grow, with the newly-created roles of artistic director, technical director, fun-time co-ordinator, and internal and external publicists all up for grabs at the company’s annual meeting at Victoria Hall Theatre on Wednesday (February 22).

HTC member Jim Thompson said: “As we grow as a company we have found the need to adapt and will be suggesting a more dynamic way of getting involved in the running of our company which won’t necessarily need a huge time commitment as a committee member.

“There will no doubt be questions about these new roles and we would be delighted to answer them at the AGM.”
