Variety
Leading female impersonator Ceri Dupree brings a touch of glitz and glamour to the Playhouse tonight (Thursday May 12) with his One Man, One Dozen Divas show. Promising to be a costume-hopping evening of hilarious anecdotes and pitch-perfect vocal impersonations, the show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £17 (£15 concessions).

Dance
Talented students from Nicola's School Of Dance take over the Playhouse this weekend with their 2011 charity showcase in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital. Choreographed by professional tutors, the show will feature performances by youngsters aged four and upwards in tap, modern, ballet and jazz dance. Performances take place on Saturday (May 14) at 7pm and Sunday at 3pm, and tickets cost £11 (£10 children).

Drama
Moot House Players’ new production of acclaimed local playwright Alan Clark's award-winning drama Whose Life It Is Anyway? opens tonight (May 12) on a three-night run. Sensitively exploring the contentious issue of voluntary euthanasia, the thought-provoking drama centres around a young woman who demands the right to end her life after becoming paralysed in a car crash. Performances begin at 8pm and tickets cost £8 (£6 unwaged).

Comedy

The Sawbridgeworth Players’ comedy The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society's Production of Macbeth opens tonight (Thursday May 12 ) for a three-night run. The ladies of FAHETGDS are convinced their startlingly original production of Macbeth will see them to the finals of an am-dram competition, but events conspire against them. Music

The fourth season of the ARC’s popular programme of lunchtime music concert continues tomorrow (Friday May 13) with a flute and piano recital from Uri Nahir and Charis Cheung. Soup and crusty bread will be served with a complimentary glass of wine or fruit juice at 1pm before the concert starts at 1.30pm. Admission is £4 including lunch.

Music

The ARC will find itself in the grip of TenStringFever on Sunday (May 15) as acclaimed violin and guitar duo Jane Miller and Terry Spooner present a varied programme of music by Granados, Piazolla, Sibelius, Spooner and gypsy jazz king Django Reinhardt. The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £10.

Incoming keeps it live and loud with sets from bubblegum punks KiraKira!, angst-ridden rockers Lost In Colour and shouty post-hardcore mob Scholars. Doors open at 8pm and admission is £4 (free for members).

Harlow's very own rock 'n' soul merchants The Feelmores turn the clock back to present another raucous night of garage rock and dirty funk as Kick Out The Jams rocks The Square. Doors open at 8pm and admission is £5 (£4 members).

Saturday May 14

Club Blub take the controls at The Square tonight with live sets from anthemic Brit poppers Royal, promising punk-pop tykes Bite, earnest alt-rockers Three Day Weekend and soulful singer-songwriter Hadleigh Ford. Doors open at 8pm and tickets cost £5.
