Pretty near console perfection is the answer, as the PlayStation’s biggest action hero returns for the conclusion of this magnificent trilogy.

The very highest production levels are in evidence here, with terrific voice acting, music and graphics, as Drake embarks on another cinematic adventure that would leave Indiana Jones breathless.

The melee combat system has been greatly improved and the shoot-outs you’ll engage in are simply brilliant. Add to that the inventive puzzles and the option for competitive and co-operative play and it’s one of the best games released on the PS3 to date.

This is sure to be top of every PS3 owner’s Christmas wish list. . . if they can wait that long to get their hands on it.
