Former Bishop’s Stortford striker Sam Higgins – the top scorer in Ryman division one north – hit a hat-trick to leave Harlow Town staring at the relegation trapdoor.

Right-back Mark Taylor hit a post after only four minutes and Wayne Grant’s bad luck continued as he missed a penalty on 48 minutes.
Higgins broke the deadlock on 39 minutes and added a second on the stroke of half-time.
He added a third on 79 minutes to complete his hat-trick.
Harlow centre-half Liam Thomas grabbed a consolation goal on 81 minutes as Marvin Samuel’s men wondered what might have been.
