Man marched to cash machine in Harlow robbery

PoliceA MAN was punched, threatened with a knife and marched to a cash machine during a robbery in Harlow.

The victim was approached by two men who demanded his wallet in Berecroft on Tuesday, January 17, between 6pm and 8pm. They punched him in the head.

Then a further two men - one of whom held a knife - and a woman arrived again demanding his wallet.

The victim was then marched to the cashpoint near Blockbusters in Staple Tye, where the goup demanded he withdrew money for them.

The group further assaulted the man on the cycle track beside Blockbusters and made off with his wallet and a Samsung mobile phone.

The victim received a cut and bruises to his face.
 

Three of the suspects are described as aged between 17 and 20:

One is described as a white man, slim build, with blonde short hair, wearing jeans and a dark jacket.

Another was a white man, very skinny, with short brown hair, wearing blue jeans, white trainers and a grey hoodie with the hood up.

And a third is described as a mixed race man, who wore a bandana across his face, a dark coat with the hood up and dark coloured jeans. He was holding a knife.
