A 28-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after an elderly man was found with serious injuries on a playing field in Harlow.
The 64-year-old victim, from Sheering, was found with serious facial injuries and fractures to his arms/hands on January 30. He continues to recover in hospital.
Bradley Burnip, 28, of Mead Lane, Hertford, was arrested on February 2 and has now been charged with attempted murder.
He will remain in police custody prior to his appearance at Harlow Magistrates Court on Monday, February 6.
