A VICIOUS mini-market robbery left a shopkeeper in shock after he was sprayed in the face with a noxious chemical.
Sunil Raja, (48), was attacked at around 8.30pm on Saturday(December 13) by a man who then threatened him and stole cigarettes and alcohol from his store on Elm Hatch, Harlow.
Police are calling for further information about the suspect who is described as a black man, of chubby build, around 1.83m (6ft) tall who was said to have been wearing a dark-green hooded waterproof anorak.
The suspect then fled on foot, heading in the direction of Moor Tower Estate.
Anyone who witnessed this incident, or have any information which could help police track down the robber, should call Harlow CID on 0800 3334444.
