Harlow shopkeeper attacked

A VICIOUS mini-market robbery left a shopkeeper in shock after he was sprayed in the face with a noxious chemical.

Sunil Raja, (48), was attacked at around 8.30pm on Saturday(December 13) by a man who then threatened him and stole cigarettes and alcohol from his store on Elm Hatch, Harlow.

Police are calling for further information about the suspect who is described as a black man, of chubby build, around 1.83m (6ft) tall who was said to have been wearing a dark-green hooded waterproof anorak.

The suspect then fled on foot, heading in the direction of Moor Tower Estate.
