A STRUGGLING theatre group for young people in Harlow has received another funding boost.
The Livewire Trust received a cheque for £400 cheque from the Church Langley branch of Tesco which it will use to purchase an iPad.
Creative director Sam Ashford said the new equipment would make a huge difference to the group.
"It is absolutely fantastic to finally have a tool that can run all our multi-media, store information and assist with our communication," he said.
"The iPad will also assist with some new alternative education projects we are working on in the community, which in turn will help us develop revenue."
He added: "It is absolutely brilliant and I would like to say a massive thank you to Tesco for their ongoing support."
A new version of the group’s summer showcase from last year is being performed tonight (Thursday) at the Glass Box Theatre in Harlow College from 8pm. Entrance is free with a raffle and collection being held throughout the evening.
