Councillors consider Newhall plan

By Ben Wilkinson
THE expansion of Harlow could take a major step forward on Tuesday (April 1), as councillors consider the massive proposed second phase of Newhall.

Members of Harlow Council's planning committee are to decide whether or not to approve outline plans for 2,300 new homes, plus business premises and two new primary schools. Planning officers are advising that councillors give the go-ahead to the plans.

The first phase of Newhall remains under construction, with around 300 homes already built and more than 100 more to come.

For a full report on the plans and Harlow Council's decision, don't miss the next edition of the Harlow Star, out on April 3.
