THE talented young protégé of a Harlow dance school will rock the West End when he takes to the stage in hit Queen musical
We Will Rock You next month.

Makin' Steps student David Rudin (22) battled his way through seven gruelling auditions watched by top choreographer and
Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips to secure his place as part of the dance ensemble and second understudy to lead character Britney.
He becomes the latest in a long line of students from the acclaimed Potter Street dance school to make the leap from the provincial stage to the glitz and glamour of Theatreland.
"I'm over the moon to have made it into this amazing show, it really is a dream come true!" he said this week "It was tough getting through the auditions but I owe so much to the training and support I've had from the brilliant team Makin' Steps. I couldn't have made it through without them."
David now faces weeks of intense rehearsals before he makes his West End debut on September 14. He will thenperform in an astonishing eight shows a week for a year.
David's former tutor Scott Simpson said: "All of us at Makin' Steps are very proud of David for making it into this truly amazing show. We feel that by being able to teach such a broad spectrum of performing arts styles we are able to give our students the best opportunities to further their careers, and David has shown how hard work and determination can really pay off."
