A FLIPPING good time was had by all as competitors lined up for the annual inter-village pancake race between Sheering, Little Hallingbury and Hatfield Heath.
Armed with their frying pans, it was a close run thing as racers battled it out on Sheering recreation ground for the Pancake Race
Cup 2010 on Tuesday.
Cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd, the home team took the honours for the second year running. The race followed a coffee morning in the village hall which raised £153 to buy toys and equipment for the Sheering pre-school.
