The latest Harlow business news
HARLOW’S longest-running pet grooming parlour has proved it is top dog after sniffing out success in a prestigious national grooming competition.
Mister Groom, based at Colt Hatch, picked up first and third place gongs at the British Grooming Championships, beating off competition from over 70 entrants from across the UK.
The prizes are the latest in a long line of successes for the business, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this month.
Owner Linda Forsyth told the Star: "There aren’t many businesses in Harlow who can say they’ve been going for 30 years, so I’m really proud of our continuing success.
"Our birthday celebrations have been made even more special by winning a couple of top prizes in this year’s British Grooming Championships – I can still remember winning there in our first year!
"I’m extremely fortunate to have such a talented and passionate team working alongside me - hopefully we can make next year even more successful."
